The one trip that was nearly a bust, 2004
Only 3 of the regular guys were able to go on this trip. We picked up 3 others to help keep cost down and they were Allen, JJ, and Jason D. Morgan is almost 3 years old in this picture. She loves to play with the bait fish in the fish tank once we get back to the docks.

The first Capt Kelly Trip
Wow, we finally got to fish with Capt Kelly. Jeff M, Matthew C, me, and Brad were the 2003 guys that made this trip. This would be Matthews first trip with us. We were slap wore out when we got back and loaded our coolers down with fish fillets and ice. We just sat on a bench on the dock and talked about our wonderful trip. What a trip. This is the first time that we actually talked with Tron. He is a wonderful guy that works extremely hard.
Venice, LA 2009
This trip was all Brad's idea. He said that we should try something alittle different and that Venice was a great spot for tuna as well and we wouldn't have to endure an expensive boat ride out to the oil rigs. Jim W, Jeff M, me, and Brad were the ones that went on this trip. It was a top 5 trip.
First organized trip that Brad and I put together
This is one trip that will never be forgotten. The one thing that will always stand out to me is the boat ride back to the docks that Sunday. We had some bad weather for 2 days until the last 2 hours of the trip and everyone came out and loaded Crab Island down. Also, seeing Shag being held halfway in the water by his feet by Brad and Joey so he could take a picture of a shark that we had caught and were about to release.

First and last trip with the boat Daybreak
We love to fish with Capt Kelly Windes. But this trip we couldn't get a trip with Capt Kelly. This was a bad experience to fish for this Capt. He was a very rude person. On this particular trip, somebody was reeling in this redsnapper while the boat had already started moving.
Blue Water fishing memories
My name is Andrew and I want to share my fishing memories with you on this blog. I remember the very first deep sea fishing trip my dad carried me and my brother on. We had a great time fishing on the party boat out of destin. My brother (Brad) and I were hooked. Over the last 25 years, I have been on numerous trips. The majority of these trips are with the same guys. What memories we have made on all those boats.
Most of this blog will be about me, my brother and our family and friends. I will try to post to this blog and then have seperate pages telling more about these trips. Some pages may not have many pictures but I will do the best to cover the type of fish we caught and a story about this trip that may stick out. Guys like Brad H (my brother who is my most favorite fishing buddy), Mark H our dad (hardest working dad in the world), Sandi H (my wife and the only female to fish with us in Venice,LA), Joette H (Brad's wife and the only female to fish with us on Capt Kelly's boat),Mark M (Brad's father in law), Jim P (my father in law), Jeff M (the 2nd most dedicated fisherman on the face of this earth), Joey F (the most dedicated fisherman on the face of this earth), Jim W (the gas man), Mattew C (he still can't believe there are flying fish), Jeff G(Hayden guy and one of the coolest fisherman I know) , Chris L (another Hayden guy and also one of the coolest fisherman I know), Brad (Jeff G brother in law) ,Sean (the retired AF pilot), Sean's friend Yoder(another retired AF pilot), Paul M (the one wrestling coach that I respect the most and he is also another Hayden guy), Chad P (The only cousin that has fished with us), Charles H (our step brother that loves long hour trips, he is an avid fisherman).
I did go on a trip with a crew of coaches, booster club members, and administrators about 12 years ago that I will not give names for. This fishing trip was during fairly rough seas. One of the guys offered $500 for them to carry him back in and the other all most dehydrated. They both were very sick men and I felt bad for them. One of the guys said that he would never set foot on another boat again. It was not a good trip for him.
I have been sea sick about 4 or 5 times and I felt that same way. Being sea sick is the worst feeling in the world. I will have a page telling about the sickness that I have gone through and others as well. If you don't get sea sick then it is the most fun a group of guys that like to fish can do together. I hope you enjoy my fishing memories.
